Charity Republic provides volunteers a forum - a place to share volunteer experiences as well as read volunteer reviews of charities and nonprofits. If you are looking for a volunteer opportunity, then Charity Republic is a great place to start! Read reviews from other volunteers in order to find the right charity and/or nonprofit for you. It’s all ‘word of mouth’ experiences from volunteers’ perspectives.

First, login for free by using your Facebook account or by creating a new username and password. Once logged in, select the "Share Your Experience" link and use the Search box to find a charity or nonprofit. Once you find the desired charity or nonprofit, click on the "Post Review" button. This will take you to the volunteer survey and submission area. Once the survey is completed and you "submit" your review, it is automatically posted to the website. Volunteer reviews are completely anonymous or open (your choice).

Volunteers are asked a series of questions about their volunteer experience. An overall rating is calculated based on their responses. A more positive response (e.g. excellent vs. terrible) will result in a higher rating.

All reviews are automatically posted to the website when you select the “submit” button.

This site is absolutely free.

Currently, you cannot edit a review once it is submitted. You can however delete it within 14 days of posting: (i) login, (ii) select My Account, (iii) click on "My Reviews", and (iv) select Delete. If you would like to make any other changes to your review, then please contact us.

Once you're logged in, you can go to My Account and follow the "My Profile" link to change your email address.
